Cream Cheese Pound Cake

I love this recipe because it has cream cheese in it. Maybe because in Indonesia people love to put cheese in and also on top of their cake (we have different kind of cheese though :)). That’s why when my mother in law made this cake, I knew I had to ask for the recipe!

Ingredients:

1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese (room temperature)
6 eggs (room temperature)
3 cups of sugar
nuts (optional)
3 sticks margarine (room temperature)
1 tsp vanilla flavoring
3 c cake flour (box kind)

Directions:

Soft & cream margarine & cream cheese.
Stir in Sugar.
Add eggs & vanilla; blend until smooth.
Stir in cake flour. Blend mixture until doughy texture.
Pour in tube pan & bake for 1 1/2 hours at 300 oven temp

Serve with whipped cream & strawberry topping (optional)
